Platanus x acerifolia - (London Plane) is a very hardy tree that can grow as big as 20m in height x 10m wide in its natural habitat however if pruned annually it can be kept smaller in size and even used as a standard in gardens
the leaves resemble maple shaped leaves and it will loose it leaves in Winter returning in spring with beautiful flush of growth. the seed balls are generally produced in summer. Roots are deep and can be considered invasive so you would want to plant in an open area and give it some room to grow
