Nijisseiki Nashi Pear has a medium greenish-yellow fruit which combines the flavour, sweetness and juiciness of a pear with the crispness and shape of an apple. The fruit is best eaten when allowed to ripen on the tree. Precocious. Suitable for small to medium gardens.

Flesh is creamy-white. Very juicy, crisp with good keep qualities. Flavour is Mild, becoming tart near the core. The fruit attains its best quality when allowed to ripen on the tree and enjoyed fresh.

Grows around 4.0m high however looks best kept around 2 - 2.5m tall. loves a good pruning and feed seasonally
